Civil Engineering

The department is being set up from the session 2009-10. India is on its way to become one amongst the developed nations in the world. In this process the infrastructure development is in full swing. Roads, buildings, Railways, Airways, space programs are all progressing at fast pace. Civil Engineering has a key role to play in this developmental activity and therefore, there are enormous opportunities lying ahead for civil engineers. The civil engineering department is started with the objective of producing able and young civil engineers to aid in this infrastructure development

Computer Science Engineering

Computer Engineers are involved with the design, implementation, and application of computing systems and networks. They apply electrical engineering techniques and computer science concepts to develop dependable, cost-effective hardware and software systems.

Students are given a strong foundation of basics of Computers, C, C++, Computer Architecture, Operating System, System Software, DBMS, Internet, Graphics, Digital Electronics, Electronics and Integrated Circuits, Microprocessors, Multimedia Application, Networking, Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering Etc.

All the Computer Labs are well equipped with adequate Hardware and Licensed Software. Each student is provided with the independent system. Wireless internet facility has been arranged in the campus, which can be accessed over the campus-wide LAN at 2 GHz

The Computer Department has C, C++ Programming Lab, Java programming lab, Computer Network Lab, Graphics & Multimedia Lab, Linux Lab, Software Engg. Lab, Web Technology Lab, Project Lab.

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering degree for 4 years that serve and needs for the public or private sectors for trained electrical engineers. The academic skills of the students with primary focus on subjects like Electrical & Electronics Engg. Materials, Electrical Engg. Design & Drawing, Electrical Machines, Electrical Measurement & Measuring Instruments, Electronics Devices & Circuits, Transmission & Distribution of Electrical Power, Utilization of Electrical Energy, Installation & Maintenance of Electrical Equipment, Electrical Workshop and Project Work.

The department has made rapid strides since establishment and is equipped with best infrastructure facilities. The department has well-furnished laboratories and workshops. The various laboratories & workshop that are functioning under this department are equipped with the latest testing equipment. The multiple experiments as detailed in the curriculum are performed in these laboratories/workshops to blend theoretical inputs with practical knowledge.

Electronics & Communication Engineering

In the last 50 years, the field of Electronics has grown so rapidly that it has affected every walk of life. Hence, to impart the basic as well as advance knowledge, the emphasis is laid on the strong foundation of theory as well as practicals.

Apart from the strong foundation of Basic Electronics, the students are provided with in-depth Knowledge of Assembly Language Programming, Digital Electronics, Digital & Analog Communication, Electromagnetic, Network systems, Antenna & Microwave, Signals and Systems, Electronic Measurement and Instrumentation.

Moreover, students have to undergo extensive training in Microprocessor Programming, Circuit Design, Simulation tools, Software like MATLAB, ORCAD, PULSONIX, Emerging Technologies like DSP, System Design & Embedded System Design, VLSI Design are covered Thoroughly.

Students are also encouraged to take part in Technical Paper Presentations, and also to undertake live Projects from Industry.

Interaction with renowned specialists of the concerned field from other institutions and industry ensures enriched learning.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering Department is well equipped in the conventional areas of material testing with sophisticated equipment dealing with Production engineering., Thermal engineering., Fluid Mechanics etc. It has well-equipped labs in the field of mechanics of Machines, hydro and aero machinery, internal combustion engines, refrigeration and air conditioning, vibration, heat transfer etc.

The Deptt. is on the verge of collaboration with various industrial organizations under industry institution interaction scheme, giving an opportunity for live projects to students.

The Deptt. has well devoted and qualified expert team of Faculty, who are constantly engaged in carrying out various live projects for the students and also the Deptt. has sufficient infrastructure to support the same. In general, practical experience is considered to be very important part of the Mechanical Engineering Programme.

These branches cover majority of the fields in engineering and technology in which graduates are in good demand, and students can successfully build up their careers in the beginning of the twenty-first century.
